Packaging Machine Operator

Parallel Employment is assisting local manufacturer in their search for qualified Packaging Machine Operators candidates for 1st Shift, Pay rates ranging from $16.50

FUNCTION:

Using production card, sets up line with raw materials (boxes, labels, etc.) as specified. As instructed in SOP, separates wheels from curing plates; inspects wheels for visual imperfections; stages wheels on the line for boxing, and palletizes wheels.

Sets up, stocks, and monitors automated packaging line.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED. Candidates currently enrolled in a GED program must continue to be active in their pursuit of their GED.
• Read and follow work instructions.
• Know how to use, read, and understand measurement tools.
• Familiar with computers, comfortable using touch screens to operate equipment
• Physical requirements: stand for up to 8 hours; lift up to 10 lbs. on a frequent basis; lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis; regular bending; work at a predetermined machine pace.
• Satisfactory attendance and work records.
• Physically able to operate electric pallet jacket.
• Must be available to work overtime, off-shifts and weekends when required.
