Job Description

Are you our next General Manager in Angola?

The General Manager in Angola is responsible for the development and retention of existing business customers and for the acquisition of new business customers in accordance with strategic growth plans; primarily within subsea survey, IMR/FSV, moorings and subsea construction disciplines. The General Manager is also responsible for the office day to day activities, including interaction with governmental institutions, industry bodies and the vendor community. The General Manager’s responsibility also includes that DOFs policies, values and governance structure are in-place for the operations conducted vie the legal entity. The authority of the General manager is described in DOFs management system with addendum for Angola legal entity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical disciplines, management, finance or commercial disciplines is perferred

(Experience can compensate for lack of formal competency.)

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience to win and execute subsea projects from relevant industry in a leadership role
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese, both oral and written
  • Experience from working in Angola/West Africa
  • Good commercial and contractual understanding
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager.
